Adult Community Crisis Stabilization (ACCS)

Adult Community Crisis Stabilization provides a safe, supportive, and community-oriented alternative to inpatient hospitalization. ACCS supports adults (18+) who are experiencing a mental health crisis, to stabilize and transition to a sustainable level of functioning in the least restrictive environment.

Our work on the unit is short-term and solution focused, design ed to stabilize the mental health crisis the patient is experiencing and successfully transition the client back into the community. The average stay is 5 nights.

Services provided are as followed:

  • Daily 1:1 sessions with a clinician for individual therapy.

  • Daily 1:1 sessions with the nurse practitioner for medication management.

  • Clinician groups

  • Social support groups

  • Recovery support

  • 24/7 nursing

  • Discharge planning
