Join us on Saturday, September 6th for Miles for Mental Health, a family-friendly walk, run, and ride event created to raise awareness and support for mental health in our community.

We’ll kick off the day at Brooks Park in Harwich, with registration opening at 7:30 AM and the event beginning at 8:15 AM. Participants of all ages and experience levels are welcome—we’re here to move together in support of wellness and connection.

Enjoy the beautiful views of the Cape Cod Rail Trail as we journey toward Brewster and return to Brooks Park, where we’ll gather for refreshments and meaningful conversations.

Come move with us, bring your family and friends, and help us build a stronger, more supportive community—one mile at a time.

Bike Ride Start Time: 8:15 AM

Mass.gov Rail Trail Rules & Etiquette:

The Cape Cod Rail Trail has the following rules and etiquette:

  1. Trail is open dawn to dusk.
  2. If you have appropriate lights, ride at your own risk.
  3. Give a clear and audible signal before passing and pass only when it’s safe to.
  4. Travel at a 15MPH speed limit.
  5. Wear protective headgear. This is required by law for children 16 years and younger, but recommended for all.
  6. Respect private property next to the trail.
  7. Alcohol and littering are not permitted on the rail trail. All trash is carry in, carry out.
  8. Riders/walkers/runners must stay to the right unless they are passing. When passing, give an audible signal.
  9. For bikers, helmets are recommended and required for those under the age of 16.
