What is the purpose of the Mixed Population program?
Our MP program helps elderly and disabled residents find a balance and build a sense of community through case management and monthly resident socials.
How does the Mixed Population program help?
Helps elderly and disabled residents with:
- Advocacy
- Health care & wellness
- Isolation issues
- Safety concerns
- Accessing community resources
- Insurance concerns
- Budgeting
- Understanding documents
- Referring to services as needed
Monthly Coffee Socials are also provided where guest speakers and community resources are brought in to discuss topics of interest.
Who makes up the Mixed Population program?
We have one Mixed Population Service Coordinator who is stationed right in New Bedford Mixed Population Housing.
